Puppies are guaranteed to be healthy upon delivery to the Purchaser and a full refund will be given if found to be unhea;thy, providing the following are met:
- The puppy must be examined by a licensed veterinarian of the Purchaser’s choice within 5 days of purchase. If the puppy is found to be ill, the breeder is to be notified within 24 hours of examination and a refund of the purchase price will follow the immediate return of the puppy (if the Purchaser so desires) along with all related papers to the Breeder/Seller, including a written statement from the Purchaser’s veterinarian stating the dog’s condition. If the Purchaser decides to not return the puppy, no refund will be given.
- Following the 5 days and for the remainder of a 30 day period from the date of sale, if the puppy is found to have any hereditary, congenital or life threatening illness, the puppy may be returned for a refund of the purchase price along with all related purchase papers and a written statement from the Purchaser’s veterinarian attesting to the issues.
This guarantee does not apply to any infectious disease, such as parvo, corona virus, etc. contracted after the date of purchase; does not apply if this puppy has been physically abused or has been injured after the date of purchase; or does not apply if the puppy has been exposed to chemicals in the house, yard, etc.
Additionally, puppies may be severely stressed by changes in their environment; minor problems such as diarrhea, girardia, coccidia, wormy stools, etc may occur and must be treated immediately to avoid placing the puppy’s health at risk. These conditions are the responsibility of the Purchaser and are not included in the Health Guarantee.
Cameron Mtn Labradors has made every effort to produce sound, healthy puppies. As such, both the sire and dam will be certified free of hip and elbow dysplasia (Certified by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals), eye disease (Certified by a Veterinary Opthamologist), and cardiac certified by color doppler ECHO by a board certified cardiologist, and the pedigrees of both sire and dam are represented by multiple generations of dogs free of hip dysplasia, abnormal elbows, and other genetic abnormalities.
As such, puppies cannot be guaranteed for not being affected by hip/elbow dyspasie in the future due to theĀ high incidents of environmental impacts, such as excessive exercise, over activity, overweight, falling, excessive stair climbing, etc., during the growth phase which are out of our control.
